Library workers have been providing a range of essential services for our patrons throughout the COVID-19 pandemic: both in-person and remotely. Curbside pick-up, remote and in-person technology assistance, computer appointments, free Wi-Fi, virtual programs and story-times: these are just a sample of the services we have provided during these difficult times. It only makes sense that we be afforded the same opportunities to obtain the life saving COVID-19 vaccine as our fellow educators in the teaching profession. Protect our communites, protect our library workers: give us access to the vaccine!
